Last year I began teaching art classes to individual beginners and running in house field trips to school classrooms. These additions added a new complexity to what I do. As I no longer just created artwork to sell, but I had to create lesson plans and advertisements to promote this new venture.
To add to the teaching portion of my business I am now involved in creating the fine arts program for a grade two class at a local Sherwood Park school, partnering up with the Turtle Island Restoration Network Project with having them sell my prints to increase their donations and finally I was asked to be apart of the IMAGO MUNDI project of Luciano Benetton where I get to use my artwork to represent Western Canadian Artists.
It was a great year in 2014 and 2015 is already a month in showing to be a very excited year for my career. I am looking forward to these changes and excited to see what else may come my way this year.
